Let’s make it clearer.

Getting your download
Shop available templates at NeatMargin on Etsy. After payment is confirmed, Etsy provides the download. Extract the ZIP and start with the PDF guide, then explore the fictional demo before entering your own records in the blank file.
Start in Excel or Google Sheets
- Extract the ZIP. Read the five-page guide and open a Demo workbook to see a worked example.
- Choose the matching Blank workbook. In Excel, open it and save your own copy. For Google Sheets, upload it to your own Drive, open it with Sheets, then choose File > Save as Google Sheets.
- Select the report year in Summary B5. Enter records in amber cells and check the Rows to fix counter.
The bundle includes Income & Expense, Invoice & Payment, and the integrated Money Kit, each blank plus demo. Pick one workflow; you do not need to maintain all three. No shared seller file or access request is required.
If a number looks wrong
Clear any table filters, check the report year and resolve the input warnings. Use real spreadsheet dates and positive amounts with no more than two decimal places. In the integrated kit, invoice receipts belong only in Payments; entering them again in Transactions will double count them.
Stay within rows 7–2006 for transactions and payments, and 7–506 for invoices. Formula columns are not locked. If a formula was overwritten, restore a backup or copy your input records into a fresh Blank file.
Compatibility
Tested in Microsoft 365 Excel for Mac and Google Sheets in desktop Chrome. Layout and chart styling can vary after import. Windows, Excel web, mobile and Apple Numbers have not been separately tested. USD only. Excel is sold separately; Google Sheets needs your own Google account.
What to include
Tell us which tool you’re interested in and your spreadsheet application, its version and the steps you took. Please don’t email passwords, bank statements, or unredacted customer information.
About the example
The homepage invoice uses fictional data. Its calculation is $600 invoiced minus a $50 credit minus the payment you select, with overpayments shown separately. It is a website demonstration, not the final spreadsheet product.
